Ttony, I am shocked... are you harbouring liberal tendencies? Twitching to take part in a liturgical dance? Where did you go wrong....??

Gee, I'm not RC at all, and I know the Baltimore Catechism well enough to have scored 100%. Given that, here are a couple of comments concerning the quiz itself, vis-a-vis Roman Catholic doctrine. First, I found the question concerning confirmation a bit tricky (one you missed perhaps?), but knew that the Baltimore Catechism discusses this in terms of being a "soldier of Christ". Second, I would have thought there would have been one or more questions about a)doctrines concerning the Papacy; and b)the Marian doctrines.

Fr Greg: I'll hope I got Baltimore Holydays of Obligation slightly wrong. I know what Confirmation does from the Penny Catechism (of which I assume that the Baltimore is the American version): "Confirmation is the Sacrament by which we receive the Holy Ghost in order to make us strong and perfect Christians and soldiers of Jesus Christ."

Mac: 99% is not perfect, and I denied myself the cigar which I had promised myself - the title was not just a joke. Domine, non sum perfectus ...

That could well be. I also had to look carefully at that question, and then I realized that Easter and Pentecost did not need to be included in the list because they are always Sundays...

Fr Greg:

I'll claim a virtual 100% as research shows that pre-1962 US Holydays don't coincide with pre-1962 UK Holydays.

Mac: see? it's nothing to do with liturgical dance!

You are hereby awarded a 100% by the Quiz creator, due to the 1 point handicap for being from Great Britain! When I created this quiz, I had NO idea how popular it would be with the English. I spent 6 happy months 20 years ago as a parishoner in Sacred Heart Parish in Eden Grove, Halloway, London.
Well done!
