I dropped my wife and daughter in town. My son was at home doing coursework. I went to PC World to look for inspiration for presents.

I came out 15 minutes later with a laptop. You know, 2 GHz of memory, an Intel Core 2 Duo T5300 processor, the Manager's special.

I went to pick wife and daughter up. "Did you get much?" I asked. I was told about winter tops and coats. "How about you?" they asked. "Oh, just a toy" I answered. "But one that you can all play with as well."

So now I have to learn Vista: it didn't come in XP.
