The parish of St Mary in Brewood is
served by the Rev John Grenside. Mass on Sunday is at 8.45 and 10.30, Evening
service at 3.00 in winter and 6.00 in summer. Mass on Holydays at 9.00 and on
weekdays at 8.00. Confessions on Saturdays at 3.00 and 7.00 pm.
In 2017 the parish is served by Fr Paul
Smith, supported by the Parish Deacon, the Rev Stephen Gee. On Sunday Mass at
St Mary’s is at 11.00, while a 9.00 am Mass is said at St Michael’s C of E
church in Penkridge. Mass on Holydays at
9.00 and at 7.00 pm. Weekday Mass at
9.00 am as advertised in the parish bulletin. Confessions on Saturday 2.00 to
2.15. The parish priest also serves HMP Brinsfad, HMP Featherstone and HMP
Oakwood.
