The parish of Our Blessed Lady West Grinstead is served
by the Rev John M Denis. Mass and sermon
on Sunday at 10.30. Rosary and Benediction at 3.00. Catechism at 4.00. On first
Sunday Vespers of the BVM, instruction and Benediction at 7.00. On third Sunday
Stations of the Cross at 3.00. Mass on Holydays at 10.00, on Feasts of Devotion
at 9.00. Mass on weekdays at 730. In Lent Benediction with the True Cross on
Fridays. Benediction of the Blessed
Sacrament on Thursdays in May. Confraternities of the Living Rosary, Brown
Scapular, and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
In 2017 the parish is now the Shrine Church of Our Lady
of Consolation. The Admistrator of the
Shrine is Father David Goddard. Anticipated Mass on Saturday is at 6.00 pm.
Mass on Sunday is at 10.30. Weekday Mass
not necessarily daily: see Bulletin. Exposition , Adoration on Wednesday at
11.30 before 12.00 Mass. Confession 11.30 to 12.00 Wednesday and 5.30 to 6.00
Saturday or by arrangement. Pilgrimages as advertised on parish website. The Shrine is available to groups who must book in advance and welcomes celebration of the Mass in OF or EF.
