A happy coincidence This is one of my all-time favourites never sung these days, having given way to sappy 1970s stuff or Anglican hymnody. I was only mourning its loss on the feast itself. It's one of those hymns which lends itself to a robust rendering (a little slow this version, I thought) like that other belter 'Full in the panting heart of Rome.'
