Hmmmmm.Mixed feelings.C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas la gare, like St pancras station? One's terrenal hopes are slightly more bouyed up after one minute 30 or so.cf eternally more important, Faith of our fathers, anyone? I don't CARE if it's beautifully sung, I want clog.
Mind you God alone(?) knows how the last night of the proms has survived political correctness anyway.It must offend lots of somebodies on the traitorous or culture of death or victimgrievance etc sides.
With all due respect to Ms Aguilera, this is what a national anthem at a sporting event should sound like,,,
