Trying to work out who Terry Nelson might be, I learned of his IT problems.

Here's a mnemonic for the Internet age: "Passwords are like pants" (knickers, underpants).

1. Change them regularly.
2. Don't share them, even with your friends.
3. Don't show them to anybody.
