Campaign For The Real Epiphany - Updated

.
And a third!

Two new Masses in two new dioceses added from the combox.  I'll update every time I'm told of a new venue.

Here is the totality of what the LMS believes to be the celebration of the Feast of the Epiphany in England and Wales on 6 January.  Not much use for most people in England and Wales, as there are no Masses listed at all in the Dioceses of Arundel & Brighton, East Anglia, Hallam, Menevia, Middlesbrough, Northampton, Salford, Shrewsbury or Wrexham, and precious few elsewhere.

Special thanks to those priests who have arranged to ensure that Mass is available at a time when those of us who are working might be able to attend.

There were some figures published a few months ago showing how the EF Masses had boomed in France.
In this country, we are still pushing the snowball up the hill.
A hill that the Bishops make higher every step of the way!

Slightly off the point:
We 3 three kings from Orien Tar·
have a right to be peeved that our feast you should mar
what Tudors frampled,and Cromwell trampled,
You lot date away with much blah

One of my godmother, Sr MarionHopeParker's (kiwi, Oxon doctorate on shaks, much persecuted, convert, carmelite hermit)'s minor aims in life was to restore the magi as a major social feast for catholics, resolutely giftgiving and card sending herself on the sixthJan Although she succeeded in one major aim-Rome evetually revived a western rite rule for religious solitaries, something in abeyance for centuries, she got brushoffs from all alike for the above.

Aim:Salvation for all souls.
under which heading LIVING DIFFERENTLY mught well help: Fish on fridays, public rosaries, beer and boy bishops etc on st nicholas 6th Dec, like an early adventaceous canon CHRISTMAS unalloyed, with midnight mass etc, Epiphany with a BANG 6th Jan, and the whole christmas season, DECORATIONS INC to candlemas.

IF the world wants to celebrate january sales and so on, so be it, but catholics shouldnt be living so in the world that it's like those fiendish spot the difference puzzles for long journeys.
